I've been watching Nanny and the Professor on Get Tv on Wednesday nights this month. Why does this show have a PG rating? This is a family show.

That is strange. Maybe it's the magic aspect since Nanny can predict the future.
Who knows? Nowadays, it seems everything has to be politically correct. Some parents don't want their kids to watch shows that deal with magic. For example, my cousin's husband comes from a very religious background, and he doesn't want their kids watching anything that has to do with magic, like Harry Potter or even old Bewitched reruns!! Seems silly to me, but to each his own. live and let live. |

Similarly, the TV serieses S.W.A.T. (from the mid-1970s) and Hondo (from the late-1960s) were given TV-14 ratings on GetTV. More info about it on this thread.
