how can you get in touch with the stars of old sitcoms

Someone asking for Desi Jr's email address in the I love Lucy section had me thinking..

How can you reach stars of old tv shows like Desi jr. and Lucie Arnaz. Or say Alan Young from Mr. Ed, the cast of Mama's Family ( sure Vicki Lawrence may be tough to get but Allan Keyser, Ken Berry, Bev. Archer ), the cast of Alice, Larry Storch, ect...

How can you get their email addresses and do they really answer them?

Any of them nice or mean when it comes to this? For example for many years I always respected Dick Clark, that is til my mom went to Atlantic City. He was playing the slots beside her. She asked him for an autograph and from what I was told he was very very very nasty. Even used the F word to her.

I know its hard to reach the big stars of today like Tom Cruse, Madonna, George Clooney ( though his dad may be easy since he does the morning show at WSAI in Cincinatti Ohio ), Drew Carey and the others.
But it should be easy to reach say the kids who played on The Lucy Show for example.

Even though I work in broadcasting the only 2 stars I met face to face were Carol Burnett
and Tammy Faye Bakker. Love to meet the stars from yesteryear.
