Like, say you liked a cartoon when you were little and now it's available on full on DVD. You might buy it for the sake of you liking it as a child. Some shows you might've just bought for the child in you (like say, PBS Kids, Nick Jr or Disney Junior shows).
List all the shows you bought for nostalgia. It doesn't have to be specifically a cartoon, it can be any show you grew up with. |

I bought a bootleg set of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". I still enjoy this show and wish PBS would start airing it again.

I haven't really (yet) bought sets based on my fond childhood memories of these, but these would be them:
SpongeBob SquarePants (I would only buy the "first 100" episodes set) Rugrats Shaun the Sheep Dragon Tales Clifford the Big Red Dog Zoboomafoo Bear in the Big Blue House Between the Lions The Busy World of Richard Scarry Sagwa The Magic School Bus Theodore Tugboat Postman Pat These were (some) of my very fond childhood memories! I would so buy these if complete season/series sets of these if they were made available! |

I'm surprised Sprout didn't air it either. They aired classic episodes of Sesame Street and Barney. It seems now NBC has taken over Sprout and most of these are gone now. |

I was just thinking: Mill Creek Entertainment works a lot with DHX Media, who owns Arthur. They released "Postcards from Buster" as season one (but called it the complete series? I don't know why?) but I wish they would release full-season sets of "Arthur".

Shows I bought purely for nostalgia were the cartoon shows of the 60s/70s that I enjoyed. There they sit on the bookshelf unwatched.
