Biggrin GetTV has added a lot of older shows, The Ghost & Mrs. Muir AND....

I know it's on Dish Network but not sure where else you can pick it up.

These are some of the shows they've added.
Riptide
The Jimmy Stewart Show
Nanny And The Professor
The Ghost & Mrs. Muir
Tour Of Duty
S.W.A.T.
Airwolf
Hardcastle And McCormick
The Equalizer
In The Heat Of The Night

They have a lot more classic shows.

I can't believe this isn't being discussed more. I have been waiting for The Ghost and Mrs. Muir to air for many years now!

Do "Tour of Duty" and "The Equalizer" have the music edits like they do on the DVDs? And are they the full-length, all the eps of "In the Heat of the Night"?

GetTV deserves a lot of credit for not just bringing back the same old shows. They think differently. I'll be watching the Jimmy Stewart Show and Riptide.

So true. Now if they would just bring back Herman's Head and Picket Fences...I know it's not their demographic or timeframe, but still...

I know. I can't wait to see In The Heat of the Night again at 7! It appears to be Sony, CBS and MGM for now but that may change. Hopefully they'll get stuff from Universal and 20th Fox, so we can see Marcus Welby, M.D. and The Paper Chase again!

Unfortunately The Tour Of Duty episodes appear to be the same as DVD with the music edited out.

Well I believe the theme song was replaced when it was in syndication before. That might have been permanently changed for syndication. I agree the music is awful. Don't know about the rest of the music but it wouldn't surprise me.

That is the original Tour of Duty Theme song that getTV is airing just like on TNT when they aired it and CBS where it originally aired.

But i like to point out that getTV did skip the theme song to Hardcastle & McCormick today but didn't on the first episode, So sorry about that

The theme song on CBS was "Paint It, Black" by The Rolling Stones.

My wife and I have been watching Riptide, Hardcastle & McCormick, The Nanny And The Professor, The Ghost And Mrs. Muir, and The Jimmy Stewart Show.

She hadn't seen Riptide, or Hardcastle before, but knows they're both childhood faves of mine.
Both of us had seen The Nanny And The Professor and The Ghost And Mrs. Muir when we were kids.
Jimmy Stewart has been enjoyable, had never seen this one before.

Thats not true. They are not playing the orignal "Paint It Black" theme they have instrumental music. It appears they have replaced most of the music.

Haven't noticed any music missing from The Equalizer yet. But it's still early.
