getTV (Sony's over-the-air retro movie channel) is drastically changing their lineup next week, adding a bunch of sitcoms and dramas to the schedule and reducing the number of movies.
Monday nights will still have retro variety shows, and Wednesday nights will still be their classic TV showcase. New weekday schedule (eastern): 7AM: The Thin Man 7:35AM: The Jimmy Stewart Show 8:15AM: Nanny and the Professor 8:50AM: The Ghost & Mrs. Muir 9:30AM: A Man Called Shenandoah 10:05AM: The Restless Gun 10:45AM: Laredo 12PM: Tour of Duty 1PM: SWAT 2PM: Airwolf 3PM: Riptide 4PM: Hardcastle & McCormick 5PM: The Equalizer 6PM: In the Heat of the Night 7PM: In the Heat of the Night Rest of the schedule is movies, the variety show block or the classic TV showcase block. Thoughts? |

Nice. Some shows I haven't seen in years- Riptide, Hardcastle and McCormick, Nanny and the Professor. Looking forward to re-visiting these again.

Nothing really there for me, although I did watch SWAT a long time ago. Good theme music.

I used to love The Equalizer when it was on A&E. I haven't seen Hardcastle and McCormick in years, so that would be a treat.
I still watch In the Heat of the Night on Sunday nights on This TV, but it's cool to see it getting more exposure during the week. |

Thin Man and Nanny and the Professor are nice but the rest are all on DVD except for Shenandoah, which has been airing on Saturdays for a few months.
