Our Good Friend Archie

A while back, I started a thread called "A Twenty Year Friendship". This is one of a rather small minority of threads that I have started that actually generated a reply. The theme of this thread was an episode of "Archie Bunker's Place" that I had seen that day and something in it that reminded me of "Mad About You". Well, earlier today, I was flipping through the channels and came upon another episode of "Archie Bunker's Place". In this episode there was also something that made me think of "Mad About You"! On various occasions, I have written about my fondness for this show's Cynthia Harris. For those of you who might not know, she played the part of Paul's mother Sylvia. I thought that she was hot stuff! I especially liked the way that she looked in jeans. Well, in this episode of "Archie Bunker's Place", the character of Murray was dating a woman named Marci. When I looked at the credits, I saw that Marci was also played by Cynthia Harris! Very amazing indeed!
