I watched this one last night on the 1st season DVD. LOL at Schneider placing the whoopee cushion in the chair just before Ann sat down in the chair. The cushion activated and the look on Ann's face, she didn't seem very amused.

Poor Schneider wasn't invited to the building party! And Barbara had him come up to fix the garbage disposal ,and he thought it was an invitation to the party!!
I personally don't think he would be missing much! Seemed like the guests were old duddy people !

The cooler party was from "Father David" when David was the chaperone and the kids were sneaking in booze!!!

The zipper on back of her dress was stuck, so she asked David to zip it up, looked like she wasn't wearing a bra, I didn't see any bra straps.

I felt bad for poor Schneider. And why was it that Ann invited old snobby people anyway?

Ann and the girls were new tenants there, and they were people from the building. Old ,snobby people happened to live there ! And that's why Ann thought Schneider would be an embarrassment!! His antics were the best part of that party I thought! What was really stupid was how Julie and Barbara were excited about that party. Older people, not teenagers or anyone young at all, just boring older people! My sister and I would have just wanted to hang out in our bedroom, only come out for some food if my parents gave a party like that! Another cooler party coming up soon from Season 2 is "Schneider loves Ginny"! It's a happenin' party down in Schneider's place!

^I felt really bad for Schneider. Ann could be inconsiderate at times, and you know how "dammit" is like her favorite word to use in front of ... well ... everybody!

True, the party guests were older boring people. Schneider's antics in the beginning of the episode are funny
, Ann's dress got my attention , that's what I like most about the episode.

^It wasn't the best episode of the series. I'd say my favorite episode has to be the 2-parter about Melanie the plastic giraffe lover
What was the name of that episode? "Barbara's Friend"?

Ginny even in her provocative cocktail outfit was so mannish, boorish and self centered that it was hard to believe Duh-wayne would be all that in to her.
What she/Mary Louise did have was a fine Broadway singing voice where she shined in that retirement home episode. She and Schneider were cute together in that particular show. Her character was softer and sweeter and far more appealing. Her relationship with her daughter, did we ever discuss what we thought of that? I don't want to sound judgmental (I frequently do!) but, well you can see where I might be going with this... (ETA. Those clothes in the picture must have reminded me of Ginny so that is probably why I posted about her. I should have started a separate thread.)
