There was segment (from the earlier years, I think) that was pretty creepy but I can't remeber the details.
It was about a gradma-type person who was stalked by an unknown assailant over the course of many (10+) years. She never saw the guy, even though he left messages? at her door. I think it took place in Ohio and I know it is neither the Cindy James nor the Circleville letter case. Also I remember that some family members hid w/ a video camera in a van hoping to catch someone in the act, but nothing ever came of that. Does anyone remeber this segment? |

It was the case of the Wacker couple. The campaign of terror they endured began in the mid-1980s. For years they were harassed by an unknown enemy (maybe they still are, I'm not sure). The unknown enemy remains a mystery since there was no update to the story. No one knows for sure whether it was someone they know or a total stranger.

Cases like this are pretty depressing. Innocent and well loved people that have no known enemies being stalked like that... how stupid. This could have been a case where a complete stranger just picked out a couple at random because he/she gets a kick out of it.
