hats were still popular when LITB was on, but I don't remember Ward wearing a hat. Do you?

Nope. I don't even think he wore a fishing hat when they went to the cabin and he took the boys out on the boat.

I don't think so either. I don't remember Ward ever wearing a hat! I did find this picture of Hugh Beaumont wearing a hat, but he wasn't in the role of Ward in this picture!

i think he wore a hat during his one scene in the subsittute father ep but i am not 100 percent sure about that

Is this the one where Ward is going out of town and as his taxi pulls up, he takes Wally outside and asks him to look after things and Wally ends up having to go to Beavers school and talk to the principle (or maybe it was Miss Landers)?

I saw plenty of extras in the background with hats, though. June wore them on occasion, too.

Ward did wear a hat in the cabin episode ("Happy Weekend") when they were fishing. It was a fedora. He also wore a fedora in "Substitute Father," as he was leaving for his business trip. Those are the only two times I remember.
