Get Smart Marathon on Decades

The cable channel Decades will feature Get Smart on their Weekend Binge beginning Saturday morning 4/16/16.

I've watched sone tonight and can't wait to watch more tomorrow. I had forgotten how good this show is. I haven't seen it since 2003 on TV Land.

I was so sad when TV Land canceled Get Smart. At least I much of seasons 4 and as I could before it got canceled.

I missed the Get Smart Binge! Marathon for the "Countdown to Decades." Like they changed their mind what show to play in that time slot.

I would have been content with just season 5 since it was the only one on CBS and Decades only plays CBS series (I think). But all five seasons is quite a treat!

I'm so glad Decades decided to do a Get Smart marathon in honor of Don Adams's birthday. I also saw "Witness for the Execution" and "Hello, Columbus - Goodbye, America" on Don Adams's birthday.

How funny that I just found out from the marathon that Adams was born in April but I knew since 2010 that Robert Karvelas was born in April, too. (I looked it up fan fiction research and comparing sitcoms.) I also remember seeing on Youtube a promo for Nick at Nite for a Get Smart marathon called "Maximum Smart", where they played all 138 episodes, and that was in April of 1991. So when I watched the video, I wasn't thinking, "around Don Adams's 68th birthday" but "in time for Robert Karvelas's birthday." How sad that Karvelas died later that year.
