Default Rank my Top 10 Sitcoms and my Top 10 Dramas

This will be milestone post #7500 for me.

Top 10 Sitcoms
1. Benson- spin-off of Soap that saw Benson Dubois hired by the governor and keep getting promoted to lieutenant governor
2. Corner Gas- Canadian sitcom set in a small town centered around a gas station and a diner
3. WKRP in Cincinnati- coworkers at a radio station that was often unorthodox
4. Family Affair- an uncle who takes in his nieces and nephew with the help of his butler
5. Mr. Belvedere- an English butler who came to work for an American family of troublemakers
6. Frasier- spin-off of Cheers that saw Frasier Crane gain a brother and have his dad come back to life
7. Wings- sitcom set in an airport with two brothers running one plane
8. Dag- best one season sitcom ever starring David Alan Grier as a Secret Service agent who was demoted to the First Lady
9. Barney Miller- the 12th Precinct crew of detectives and their cases
10. The Andy Griffith Show- starring Andy Griffith as Sheriff of small town Mayberry with Don Knotts as his deputy. It makes my top 10 definitely on the black and white episodes' strength, color dragged it down.

Top 10 Dramas
1. Early Edition- starring Kyle Chandler as a man who gets tomorrow's paper today and tries to change the headlines
2. Fame- much superior to Glee, about students and teachers at a prestigious music school
3. Heartland- Canadian drama set at a ranch starring Amber Marshall as horse whisperer Amy Fleming.
4. Dragnet- the best crime drama, starring Jack Webb as Detective Joe Friday.
5. Adam-12- the cases of police officers Malloy and Reed
6. Once Upon a Time- fairytale drama with characters including Rumpelstiltskin, evil Queen Regina, Prince Charming, Snow White, and their adult daughter Emma
7. Diagnosis Murder- starring Dick Van Dyke and his son Barry as a doctor who solves cases with his detective son.
8. Granite Flats- set in a small town during the Cold War with lots of mystery
9. Touch- starring Kiefer Sutherland as father of a mute boy genius
10. Gilmore Girls- dramedy about a mother and daughter who are best friends balancing a quirky town and the cantankerous grandparents

My complete top 100 TV shows is in my signature if anyone wants to go all out and rank the whole list.

I can't really "rank" these but I will give a brief opinion of each show.

Top 10 Sitcoms
1. Benson- I like this show but haven't seen it in a long time.
2. Corner Gas- I've not seen much of this show but what I saw seemed kind of dull. My sister loves it, though, and a few Christmases ago, I bought the complete series for her.
3. WKRP in Cincinnati- I never liked this show but I will admit that Gordon Jump was pretty good in it.
4. Family Affair- A great show.
5. Mr. Belvedere- This was pretty good back in the day. I haven't seen it in a while though.
6. Frasier- I never got into this show. I much prefer "Cheers."
7. Wings- A great sitcom that's in my top five favorite sitcoms of all-time.
8. Dag- I actually recorded the episodes when this show first aired. I loved it and was upset by its cancellation.
9. Barney Miller- I've not seen too much of this. I've seen enough to say it's a funny show though.
10. The Andy Griffith Show- As a kid I found this show boring, but as I got older I got to like it.

Top 10 Dramas
1. Early Edition- Never saw it.
2. Fame- Never saw it.
3. Heartland- Never saw it.
4. Dragnet- I've only really seen the color episodes but it's a good show.
5. Adam-12- I didn't watch this show too often but I liked it when I did.
6. Once Upon a Time- Never saw it.
7. Diagnosis Murder- Never saw it.
8. Granite Flats- Never saw it.
9. Touch- Never saw it.
10. Gilmore Girls- I've only seen glimpses of this series. They talk fast, lol. I liked Lauren Graham on "NewsRadio" where she played an efficiency expert for four episodes.

I also can't rank many of these shows simply because I've never seen them but I will rank the ones I've seen...

Sitcoms:
(I've never seen these shows or I haven't seen enough of them to rank: Corner Gas, Dag, & Family Affair)

1. The Andy Griffith Show
2. Mr. Belvedere
3. Wings
4. Benson
5. WKRP in Cincinnati
6. Barney Miller
7. Frasier

As for the dramas; I've only really seen "Once Upon a Time" and "Diagnosis Murder".
