Monday night was the perfect night for this show...
Calm theme song..calm countryside atmosphere, relaxed cast.
This show was perfect for Monday night when people are relaxing from starting the week off. Couldn't work as well on a Wednesday night, although the writing was quite underrated. It might have worked but Monday night was magic with Newhart. I'm really just in tears writing this, actually. It was a beautiful show. Newhart was one of the most underrated shows on television in history...along with Perfect Strangers and Dear John. |
