Man with a Bucket joke - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the episode, Take My Mama Please, Naomi suggests a joke that began with "There once was a man with a bucket.." then is cut off by Mama for not going for smut. Then Mama gets desperate and attempts to tell the joke on open mic night with the church group's disapproval cutting her down.

Does anyone actually know the entire joke or was this just made up for the episode?

I always assumed that the next line in that joke was something about "f#c* it".

Yeah! Isn't there another version that goes "There once was a girl from Nantucket" ? I think the joke is that at that point the person telling the joke gets shushed !!

I remember the second line to the "man from Nantucket" joke, but I'd really rather not repeat it.

I was checking around for the Nantucket poem and came up with a few versions !! Here is a cute one! The other ones I found wouldn't be very nice for a lady to post! Maybe not appropriate even for a man to post here really!

There once was a man from Nantucket Who kept all his cash in a bucket. But his daughter, named Nan, Ran away with a man And as for the bucket, Nantucket.
