I would run to marry Barbara. I mean why live like that? They should have waited to get married to at least get a better place. How about Barbara yelling and going "and who the hell is that on the wall!!!"" Hahahaha!!

Also, how hot was Barbara in those swears?? Right, Opus???

Between The Funny Boys and the "lovable" trio that Markus rooms with I have to say Mark has some very odd taste in friends.

It didn't seem believable that Babs didn't know who Jerry Hauser given that he was Mark's best man. Did I hear him introducing himself to her in this episode?

Eloise the towel wearing pianist was extremely annoying and even though I have compassion for Susan Richardson and her struggles in real life, she was a horribly written character. Why not make her fairly normal so Barbara could have an actual real girlfriend on the show? She was just ridiculous with her unflattering white wig and ever present towel.

I agree, why couldn't they have waited to be married until they could afford a decent place. Sam Royer was a rich successful architect, couldn't he have floated Mark a loan so they didn't have to live in those conditions? The whole premise was ludicrous and I am glad those characters were mercifully phased out.

BTW, I like Jerry Hauser/Wally Logan personally. Did you all know he got Maureen McCormick off of drugs and into church, according to her biography. Great guy and voice over artist. He was also in the famous movie from the seventies called "The Summer of 42"

I know nothing about the other guy except that I remember him vaguely from a show called "Riptide".

BTW, Ann Romano preached to Babs how she should "tend to her marriage" but would NEVER have put up with those shenanigans herself. Can you see her putting up with those 3 given her explosive temper? Nobody should have to put up with an invasion of privacy like that. Of course, what am I saying? She endured the mustached handyman's constant interruptions for 9 years.

I meant to say sweats. I think it was that damn auto correct. And Opus, if you were married to Barbara, wouldn't you tell your friends to take a hike?

Yeah, if we couldn't afford our own place, I'd probably want to move in with someone I could trust, like her brother in-law...

Well the brother in law DID kiss her and curl her toes, but at least he never did a heinous thing like calling her Babs!!
