He was my dad, though we lived in different parts of the country.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your father. This is quite a shock. I enjoyed discussing numerous cases with him this past month.

Oh no. That is terrible. I can't remember when I've been so numb after opening a thread.
No, I didn't always agree with jjmcgr, specifically on EAR-A and a copycat EAR-B, but always appreciated the ton of effort and research he provided, specifically on that EAR-ONS case on the old A&E board and applied to his own site on that case. I tried to communicate that point to him once he started posting more frequently here recently, that he made a big difference. In fact, his EAR-ONS site is often referenced for material that can't be found anywhere else. I'm glad he seemed to be active and upbeat until the end, or very close to the end. I remember him posting in many threads in recent weeks and months. I had no idea this was imminent. RIP |

Oh, no. Horrible news.
Although I didn't engage him too much in conversation, I did always enjoy the perspectives he brought to the table. I will miss reading his posts. My condolences to you and your family. |

RIP.
He was a quality poster from what I've seen. |
