I dunno where to put this post, though she had a TV Show...

If anyone watched EWTN during the 80's and 90's may have seen Mother Angelica's TV Show.

She was born in Canton and started her show in a garage in 1981...she was 92.

All I know her from is Howard Stern and his crew prank calling her show.

Many have called her "Pirate Nun" because when she suffered a stroke, she had to have an eye-patch.

Why were Mr. Stern's folks pranking her show? Had she dissed THEIR show or called them up?

P.S. I have to admit she was a guilty [slight]pleasure for me for a time in that she was somewhat like 'Judge Judy' except without that much of a sense of humor about herself. However; I'm sorry she had to spend so many years struggling with the aftereffects of that stroke and am glad she's no longer suffering.
