The great thing about playing Russian bad guy Josef in the eighth season of Fox's highly popular action series? "It was an interesting experiment to be a part of," Anders says. The weird thing? The series' central conceit — that each season takes place over the course of one day — doesn't allow for all that much character development. "You want to insert different nuances into your performance, but every episode… that you shoot on it, it's just an hour of the day.
