Default The coach of Northern Iowa should be fired immediately after that collapse

How do you allow your team to lose a 14 pt lead with 40 seconds left

That maybe the worst collapse in Basketball history and that coach should be banned from all coaching jobs in the future. What a disgrace. And all those players on the floor for Northern Iowa should be immediately ineligible for the NBA draft

I know the fans of that school are sick

It was a total choke, they couldn't even get the ball inbounded. I agree, some heads deserve to be rolling there.

The coach must have been on the sidelines sleep

Because some college kids collapsed under pressure? If anything, getting Northern Iowa to the second round of the tournament leads the guy to a higher profile, higher paying school.

The loss is on the coach not the players

These kids have enough experience and played enough games, there is no excuse for blowing a double digit lead with less than a minute remaining. I think the blame should be shared equally between the players and coach. They probably relaxed and lost their focus, thought they had the game in the bag. Give Texas A&M credit for not quitting and continuing to battle. Every once in a rare while is a crazy comeback game like this, it happens in both college and pro ball.

This is true, and sort of my point. In every sport it will happen eventually, not just basketball. This is not Pete Carroll in the Superbowl. I'm still waiting for him to give the ball to Lynch.

I sense you're not a big sports fan? No problem. Lots of people aren't.

I just never seen a basketball team lose a 12 pt lead with 33 sec and I am still stunned
