Default Jack could have told his boss who was hitting on him that he was GAY so.....

he could keep his job and she wouldn't feel rejected. He pretended to be gay to keep a roof over his head but wouldn't pretend to be gay to keep the cash flowing

And she fired him because she was insulted that he didn't want to fool around with her. So he should have just spared her feelings and she he was into men so he could keep her away from him and money in his pocket

Why would the fact that he was gay stop her grabbing his buns? And I'm sure he would end up flirting with lady customers....how would he have explained that to the boss?

He lied at home b/c Roper wasn't around 24/7 so it was an easy lie. Kind of hard to keep up the act for however many hours in a public place just to keep a crappy job. Not like it was a special burger joint or something.

I don't think he should have lied. It was the judge's fault. Jack deserved to win that case but the judge went a little nuts about it.

But It was a part-time job so I figured he could have just faked it lol But she knew Jack wasn't attracted to her which is why he was fired.

Jack was like........."when u touch me when I am working it makes me nervous"

Boss: "you are not working now"

Jack : "it still makes me nervous".............No attraction

I agree!!!! I'm a middle aged women !! I'm not going after young men or anything LOL!!!! But if I was, I'd rather a young guy not want me cause he's gay and isn't into any women, than if he just thought I was too old and not attractive enough!!!

There is no reason she should have put her hands on him and then fired him when he didn't want to play. It wasn't up to Jack to "make her feel better" about anything. She was wrong, period.

But she was able to get away with it since jack was so clumsy and spilling food in people's lap. Lol

When the case finally made it to court, Mr. Furley tried to get Jack off of hook by saying that we was gay and thus would never hit on a female boss. Jack put his hand over Mr. Furley's mouth and said that he was guilty. It was as if loosing his job rather than having the public think that he was gay was the lessor of two evils.

I know, I'm not sure why he would care since it was no young attractive women in the court room

Because he wasn't gay and therefore shouldn't have to pretend otherwise, same as if someone IS gay and has to pretend they're straight....it's not who they are and they shouldn't have to pretend for the comfort of others. Also whether Jack was gay or not was irrelevant to the case. Like if you're a gay man you're automatically unattractive to women? Ooooookay.

Again, the job was small-time. There were hundreds of similar jobs, and in fact Jack got another job just like it by the end of the episode. Why would he pretend to be someone he's not for a crapola job? Too much BS for minimum wage.

That other job must have been in the tag scene. It's been years since I seen it

Yeah at the moment I forget what the new job was exactly but he was talking to Janet about it in the tag scene.

Not your typical TC episode.

It doesn't seem like a TC episode to me since it involves a very serious topic.
