Do you any of you have feelings of hatred toward her?

OH, it just hit me (sorry, I was little in the 80's...but I do remember the Cosby show, and thanks to Nick at Nite and WGN, we can still see it). Lisa Bonet...she was the one who married Lenny Kravitz. But why the heck would anybody hate her?

In the magazine articles I read, Lisa Bonet seemed to think that doing a Cosby Show reunion was beneath her. It seems really odd that she should say that, because her carreer post Cosby hasn't really skyrocketed. Besides, shouldn't she be a little more grateful to the cast and crew of "The Cosby Show" for getting her the role of Denise?

Thumbs down Lisa Bonet and the Cosby reunion

It is a little surprising that Lisa Bonet, of all people, would act like a Cosby Show reunion special is beneath her. It may well be motivated by "corporate greed," as she claims, but so what? If she had any feelings of gratitude, she would do it if Bill Cosby asked her to. It's not like she owes the Cos her career or anything.

It is a little disappoitning that Lisa Bonet won't contribute to the Cosby Show Reunion.. it will feel like there's a part of the family missing when the Huxtables all regroup..
But all in all, the show shouldn't be affected by her absence too much - Lisa was always kind of dipping in and out of the series over the years, and wasn;t even in the last episode.. If she feels she doesn't want to participate, well then thats her decision.

But why didn't she use the corporate greed to her own advantage and donate the money she would have been paid for it to a charity of her choice?
And surely if she feels the decision to do the reunion was motivated by 'corporate greed', then the decision to spin her character off into a spin-off show at the height of the Cosby Show's success was similarly motivated by profit!

Whatever the reasons, I think Lisa should have recognised that (I would presume) the cast of The Cosby Show are actually all reuniting to remember and celebrate something that is particularly special to all of them. THey were all part of one of the most successful American television shows of all time, and thats something to be proud of.. I think that is why Bill, Phylicia, Sabrina, Malcolm, Tempestt and Keshia are all getting together on May 19, regardless of how much money NBC makes out of it.
