over the years little house has had its share of one shot or mutli ep villians and while mr:s olsen nellie and also to a lesser extent nancy were the people that viewers loved to hate i was wondering who your other fave villian is ? mine is mr. standish when i watch the ep with him i am torn between feeling sorry for charles but also kind of enjoying seeing his sometimes sizeable ego get knocked down a few pegs who is your fave villian?

I liked both Mrs. Olsen and Nellie. They were those characters that you just loved to hate!

I couldnt stand either one. Plus, Nancy was a spoiled brat.

I'll go with Nancy. Willie comes to mind first actually but he turned out to be not so bad as the series progressed.

Favorite villain? Definitely NOT the mime who raped Sylvia. That episode was nightmare fuel. Who thought THAT episode was a good idea?!

The whole raping mime thing was CRAZY, especially for a family show.
I loved Mrs. Oleson in the later years - she was loud and bombastic and snobby, but ultimately had a heart (you’ll laugh - but that character is similar to the Miss Piggy character on The Muppets). Early on, she was just sinister. Nellie was a lot of fun, especially when Alison Arngrim really settled into the role and started playing her for laughs, around season 4. Nancy was just a psychopath and not fun at all. |

That's my favorite episode which sounds terrible b/c it ended so badly. I think it's because I had a huge crush on Albert at the time and it's still one of my favorites. But honestly some of their episodes were over dramatic and downright depressing. I would love to know why they came up with an epiiswode like this and ended it hte way they did. |
