While she did an outstanding dramatic role as Janet Tyler in "Eye of the Beholder", it was interesting finally seeing her cameo in the Carol Burnett episode in which she played a 'high society deb' but STILL had that Hillbilly accent! I wonder if that may have been Mr. Serling's way to somehow have had Ellie May actually MAKE it in 'society' yet not having really changed.

She's has the distinction of appearing in the 2 episodes that many consider to be the best & worst of the series.

I remember the Twilight Zone with Carol Burnett had a laugh track didn't it? That was odd for a Twilight Zone.

It did which is another reason it tanked.
