Default Am I the only one who thought Mrs. Roper was more attractive older lady than......

LANA?

It was nothing about her that turned me on and I can understand Jack not wanting to be with her in that way lol Maybe it was her always being so HORNY Made her unattractive on the show. Everytime she saw Jack she wanted to have sex. Mrs. Roper looked a lot better

So because Lana wanted to have sex with Jack she was unattractive? Like, what does it take to make a lady attractive to you?!?! All the guys ever b!tched about on that show was how their girlfriends were constantly saying "no"....then a woman says "yes" and suddenly she's unattractive

BTW not sure if you noticed, but Mrs. Roper was hot for it, too, just not from Jack. But even Mrs. Roper hit on Jack a few times.

She just came off as desperate which made the character unattractive and annoying. I can't think of one episode where she acted normal

Mrs. Roper has always been a favorite of mine.

Lana wasn't terrible but she wasn't all that good either. No foul towards the actress who played her; the character was just written badly.

Never made sense to me that Jack rejected Lana. Audra Lindley was good looking, but Mrs Roper in the wig and Mumu didn't do it for me. She just needed a makeover and Stanley would have been all over her.

Ah, but JSP, Mrs. Roper was always mentioning her lacy nighties and negligees....I don't think a makeover would help. Stanley was freaked out by attractive young women (like Sherrie, the redhead at the timeshare place) who came on to him, too. Stanley was just plain scared of women who actually wanted him. Much easier for Stanley to look at pictures....pictures don't have any expectations

It's been too long since I watched the show. Starting to forget things.

I thought it was funny how Mr. Furley was in love with Lana, and she wouldn't give him the time of day! Only had eyes for Jack! And Larry too right? She flirted with Larry, but not as much as she liked Jack right?

I don't think Lana flirted much with Larry. Larry would've taken her up on whatever offer she would've made

Yeah I never got that, either. Unless she had a huge apt like the trio but could pay for it herself (without roommates).

She moved in just to be near Jack. Crazy, huh?

I always liked Mrs. Roper since I began watching 3s Company on Antenna.

I don't understand why people don't like The Ropers. Personally, I like it, and I would buy it if it were released on DVD.

Yeah! The Ropers is fairly amusing!

I would definitely buy Ropers and Three's a Crowd on DVD were they available. Like them or not, they're a part of the Three's Company experience.
