Surprised he didn't try to jump through the TV to find out. I probably would.

I kind of liked the way Max defended Julie even if it was at Barbie's expense. A husband should have his wife's back, so to speak.

Why Julie responded by throwing a bowl of salad at his head is a mystery. Pregnancy hormones, I guess. Somebody said on another board that they thought the character might have been bi polar. Interesting. If the show was on today they might have written that element in.

The reboot is on its way, I guess with Rita Moreno as Kkkk Katie.

At any rate, Max was truly a long suffering husband. He could be a ***** at times especially early on, but he and the actor portraying him put up with a lot.

My appreciation for Michael Lembeck continues to grow especially with his most devoted fan BonnieG singing his praises here. WHY couldn't he have gotten his own show? Oh, well.

He had a fine career in directing, winning an Emmy for the first season on Friends.

Michael did star or costar on a show after ODAAT "Foley Square". It didn't even last a whole season though! I think besides Kaptain Kool, Mary Hartman and ODAAT he pretty much only did guest starring TV roles. He also was in a few B movies I found out. I was thinking of ordering some from Amazon! But still all of them from the 70's-early 80's-nothing recent!

Also I found out in the early 70's,when he was really young. He and Cindy Williams actually played a young married couple! It was something like a musical sitcom show, that again didn't even last a season! I never even heard of it before! Also John Amos was in it.( James from Good Times)! I don't remember ever seeing John Amos before he played Gordy on MTM! So this show was very unknown. I just found out by hunting around the internet "stalking" Michael haha!! But at the time I didn't have time to post it, if I have time later I will!

Don't you think a very young Michael and a very young Cindy Williams, years before she was Shirley would make an adorable couple? The two of them seem like they would be really cute together!

I didn't know he was on Friends???

I watched the episode today and I will probably get blasted for this, but, I'm sorry, Julie was a nut. I'm not that keen on the underwater birth thing just because you can be in a hospital and things can go wrong. Also, the way Julie talked to Ann annoyed me along with her meditating. And how about what Julie wanted to name the boy?

Also, the big argument with the family stemmed from a suggestion from Julie. I mean "No will not be a part of the baby's lexicon"? Are you kidding me? Then, Max defends Julie and gets a salad dumped on his head!!????

Yeah, Julie pissed me off in this episode. Barbara having dimples on her butt on the other hand...
