Cool Fuller House Renewed for 2nd Season by Netflix

Congrats to Candace Cameron Bure & company on the 2nd season renewal of "Fuller House" as was announced by Netflix earlier today.

That being said, I have a slew of story ideas for the 2nd season.

In the 2nd season debut, titled "Physical Education," D.J.'s oldest son, Jackson, gets into hot water with his school principal over Inappropriate Public Displays of Affection, leading D.J. & Stephanie to teach Jackson about the human body and boundaries.

The next 2 episodes will be a 2-parter. In the first part, titled "The Big Date," D.J. goes on her 1st date since blowing off her old high-school boyfriend Steve (Scott Weinger) and fellow vet Matt in the 1st-season finale, leading D.J. to question her own morals and values when she starts falling in love with a much younger man.

The conclusion, "Where Do We Go From Here?," serves as the 2nd part where after much deliberation, D.J. decides to break it off with her younger college-age boy-toy.

And that's just the first 3 episodes right there.

I really do hope & pray that the episodes get made in the 2nd season of "Fuller House."

Fuller House Renewed For Season 2
BY Amanda Michelle Steiner
Posted March 2 2016 — 9:26 AM EST

Netflix has no mercy.

The streaming service announced Wednesday that Fuller House, which dropped Feb. 26, has already been renewed for season 2.

Though the series was not received particularly well by critics, Fuller House trades largely in nostalgia and in the familiar, making it a favorite for Full House die-hards. If you’re all caught up — or if you just want to know what the series is all about — be sure to check out EW’s binge recap of season 1.

For the uninitiated, the revival follows the exploits of DJ Tanner Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) as she cares for her three children with the help of her sister, Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and her childhood BFF, Kimmy (Andrea Barber), following the death of her husband. Original series stars Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier have all made appearances; notably, only Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen declined to reprise their roles.

There is not yet any news to report on who will be returning for season 2, when the second installment begins streaming, nor whether creator Jeff Franklin has managed to snag one of the Olsens after all.

Will Fuller House's season 2 have 13 episodes like season 1, or will season 2 have more episodes (like, say, 20)?

"Stay Safe"? More like "Stay Sad".

Not surprised, at all. Everyone and their Grandma has been watching it and buzzing about it the last week. I saw the first two episodes on Saturday and I was shockingly surprised how decent it is. I've enjoyed what I've seen so far! The critics have not been kind to it, but what were they honestly expecting from it? It's exactly what they promised it would be-a literal sequel to the original series. It was never this super smartly written show. It's just this lighthearted fun show that's good for families. Nothing more or less.

I'm very happy for the cast and crew on the renewal. Miller and Boyett look to be out of retirement for a while now. Hopefully this success will encourage them to take on a few more projects again. Look forward to watching the rest of Season 1 and eventually 2!

Thanks for the news! I haven't seen the first season yet, but now that a second is going to be done, I will get to the first as soon as I can!

God bless you always!!!

Wow, really? I beg to differ. I think there are way too inappropriate moments on just the seven eps I've seen so far for kids to watch and given how religious and wholesome Candyce Cameron claims to be, I'm surprised that she hasn't objected to this. I mean, it was disturbing in itself watching Stephanie in a skin tight white dress dancing in a club with DJ and Kimmy while Stephanie's date runs hs hands up and down her butt and the rest of her body. Seriously that is something you'd never see on Full House. I still remember that ep where DJ and Kimmy get all dressed in those tight dresses to go to school and Danny tells her not to dress like Jessica Rabbit. Ah those were the days.
