Soap Super-Fan Yvette Nicole Brown to Guest on "Young and the Restless"

If you wish it, they will call — Yvette Nicole Brown is proof of that.

The "Community" and "The Odd Couple" actress will cross an item off her bucket list this week when she shoots a guest appearance on CBS’ "The Young and the Restless", TVLine has learned exclusively.

“The people at CBS found out that I’m a freakin’ fangirl,” Brown explains. “And they were like, ‘Do you want to go to Genoa City?’ And I’m like, ‘Um, yeah.’ It was probably one of the most exciting calls I have ever received.

The only thing that could equal it is if I were to get a call to be on Sesame Street. If Sesame Street ever calls,” she adds, “just go on and tell the Lord I’m comin’ home.”

On Y&R, Brown will play a reporter in scenes with Peter Bergman (Jack), Gina Tognoni (Phyllis), and Jason Thompson (Billy). “All I know is something is happening with Jack, Billy and Phyllis that’s a big deal,” she shares, “and I’m reporting on it.”

Brown’s episode is slated to air on Monday, April 4.

My favorite thing she did was a Big Lots commercial back in the early 2000s. I wish someone would upload it on YouTube. I'd love to see it again...it was hilarious. It's the one where she says "I was seizing all day"!
