I've been watching CPO Sharkey lately. It's my personal observation that it seems to be like a cross between McHale's Navy and All In The Family. What shows do you feel are like a cross between two other shows?

Valerie who? No, I did think of that , but that wasn't till season 5. Overall, I still don't see the "cross between" unless of course it's for Leeves and Malick.

I see the analogy between Happy Days and I love Lucy for L & S , but I don't get the connection of Odd couple and That girl becoming Perfect Strangers?


Oh!!!! Maybe because the two blonde single girl neighbors, could be compared to Ann Marie from That Girl? Yeah OK Ann Marie was brunette, but if she lived in the same building as Oscar and Felix! Might be the same mix as the Perfect Strangers cast!

Suzanne Martin (the creator of "Hot in Cleveland") was a Producer and Writer on Frasier.

And yes, also because 2 of Hot in Cleveland's stars were on Frasier.

I have both seasons on DVD. I finished up season one not too long ago and I recently watched the first episode of season two. I'm liking the show so far. It probably should've lasted longer.

NBC placed Sharkey in the Sanford Arms on Friday nights after Sanford Arms was cancelled after 7 eps during season 2. So you know it wasn't going to last long after that move.
