I wished that everyone else would have been nicer to Shelly Long for the last episode. Come on. It's been 6 years since she left. I mean whatever happened no matter whose fault it was, no one should hold a grudge against each other. It seemed like that she was looking foward to doing it. It seems like that both sides should have taken into consideration how the other side feels when they worked together the first 5 years. What do the rest of you think?

Was Shelley Long treated poorly during the last episode? If that's true, I think it's lousy. I know there were problems when she was on the show, but I never heard anything terribly earthshattering that she'd done. I've read petty stuff about her being late, but she needed more time in hair and makeup than the other cast members.
It's not as if she demanded an outrageous amount of money and brought the show's production to a complete halt like another actress on another show, who shall remain nameless, lol. I agree it's not right if anyone holds a grudge against Shelley. She's a fine actress and made a huge contribution to the show. Cheers owes a good portion of its success to her. |

i think most of the cast have come around the 'bad' feelings. (i think we've talked about this b4). during the finale, Ted and Shelley were having a good time. she appeared on Frasier,so her and Kelsey must be OK. Woody i never think had a real prob. w/ her. i doubt theres really anything anymore
i dunno... Doug |

This is true Shelly was treated bad in the last episode. i saw that on some show. I think it was the E True Hollywood Story. From what the show said it said that the cast members were still upset with Shelly so on the last episode they decided to get her back by treating her like crap on the last episode. I doubt Kirstie did though because I don't think they even knew eachother.
But hopefully by now they have forgiven eachother. |

I also remeber what they said on the E! True Hollywood story- The day Kirstie joined the cast, she dressed in a blond wig and just like diane and did some shelley-isms.
