I have never seen the show.Was it any good? Was it better than the original?

I've seen a couple episodes on You Tube recently, and yes it's good.

It's hit or miss. Some episodes are just so-so, but others are very funny, especially from the first two seasons (first format). I'm sure I'm the odd man out, but I actually prefer this series to the original. I rarely laugh at the original series, but there are many instances on this series that I find it laugh-out-loud funny. I also remember it well from my childhood, so there's a nostalgia aspect for me.

I vaguely remember this show from the 70s, but there's no way it was better than the original. The original is IMO the best sitcom of all time.
