Another favorite cartoon of the 80's that I liked was Heathcliff and I would like to know if you remember this cartoon? It featured Mel Blanc as the voice of Heathcliff and Heathcliff became such a popular cartoon that there was even Heathcliff The Movie as well. Another thing Heathcliff had was the cute end segments where Heathcliff taught kids cat tips and fun facts about cats,

Heathcliff is one cartoon that I wish would make a comeback because it was so funny and me and Dad would watch it every day because Heathcliff was so cool. Here's an interesting fact about Heathcliff that may surprise you. In the Heathcliff episode Going Shopping while Heathcliff is shopping in the store keep an eye out for a cameo appearence by Inspector Gadget on one of the television sets that Heathcliff watches while going on a chase through the store,

Yes because they were both produced by DiC, hence the cameo. Heathcliff was even more popular in France and there was an entire toyline produced exclusively for the French children back in the 80s! There were also 2 non-DiC Heathcliff series produced in the early 80s- "Heathcliff and Dingbat show" and "Heathcliff and Marmaduke" |
