I have seen this joke on Laverne & Shirley, Mama's Family and quite a few others.

It starts off as...

"....There was a girl from Nantucket.."

Then the remaining characters stop and gasp.
Saying thats its a dirty joke. ON Mama Vicki Lawrence tells this joke at the Bigger Jigger
only to shock some church ladies and of course Vicki ( Mama ) doesnt finish it.

HOW DOES THIS JOKE GO ???? WHAT IS THE ENDING OF IT???

My 2nd question...how did the name "bruce" get connected to gay? I have noticed on some shows ( mainly from the 70s ) that there were some "Bruce" jokes and all of them were
gay related. WKRP was one show I can think of that did this? I dont get it?

I heard that joke a loooong time ago, and the one I heard goes something like...

"There once was a girl from Nantucket, who kicked the bucket, after saying "f**k it!"

I heard that on Mama's Family once, but it was at the end of the show she was telling it to Iola.
