Default Greed The Series

Another favorite game show of mine was a game show that aired on FOX in 1999 called Greed The Series and it featured Chuck Woolery as the host and it was known for the catchphrase "Do You Feel The Need For Greed". Greed The Series reruns also aired on GSN and Greed The Series was so cool and fun to watch. This is one game show I wish would get revived or would like to see in reruns again because Greed The Series is one of my favorite Chuck Woolery game shows,
Do you remember Greed The Series?,

I do! I really enjoyed watching this and seeing how greedy people really got. You had the opportunity to go as a team and win a lot of money, or take a chance of eliminating someone to take their share.

I remember the one episode where a guy got to $2 million and it was just him, but he didn't win it all.

Do you remember an episode of Greed The Series where a team had the chance to win a two million dollar jackpot when Greed The Series had it's Super Greed episode but the team of contestants ended up winning a million dollars instead and then they decided to walk away because they were so happy with joy with their prize?,

I remember "Greed" vividly, LaBestia! It debuted on Fox in November of 1999 after "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" became a pop culture phenomenon. If memory serves, "Greed" was retitled "Super Greed" midway through its run before being canceled abruptly in the summer of 2000 (despite being renewed for a second season).

The enormous success of "Millionaire" (on ABC) forced the other three networks to jump on the primetime game show bandwagon; thus, throughout much of 2000, Fox aired "Greed," NBC revived their '50s hit "Twenty One" (hosted by Maury Povich), and CBS premiered "Winning Lines" (emceed by Dick Clark).

Sadly, the primetime game show craze had waned considerably by the summer of 2000, with "Twenty One," "Winning Lines," and the aforementioned "Greed" being canceled as quickly as they had debuted. Even "Millionaire" would suffer through a ratings slump during the 2000-01 season before finally limping to an end in the summer of 2002 (although the daily, first-run syndicated version--which debuted in the autumn of 2002--remains in production to this day); many viewers believe that ABC's reliance on "Millionaire's" abrupt popularity led to its massive overexposure, and its subsequent cancellation. I also believe that the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was another factor why "Millionaire" suffered a ratings decline during the 2001-02 season (the series was no longer ranked in the top twenty).
