Ralph was snapping at the $5.00 increase on the rent and I couldn't understand why - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Then I went to the inflation calculator and see why he was so mad at the increase. That $5.00 increase in 1956 would be like my rent increasing $43 in 2016 which would be something to be upset about.

Alice had the nerve to make this comment and wasn't bringing any money in the house

"It's only $5.00 Ralph"

My rent increased by $55 in 2006 and 2007 but I didn't feel the effects too much because I was making a lot more money back then

I know when she said it's only $5.00 I also thought it strange that she'd say that.
