Default I'm guessing that only 25 people purchased season 1 because

it's been 12 years since the last release on DVD

That right there lets you know that not a lot of people purchased season 1 and looks like this show will never seen in full cycle ever again unless Antenna TV picks up it

I still hope Shout will release this as a complete series. I also still don't have Season 1 but thankfully there are plenty of homemade sets on iofffer mostly from Nick at Nite recordings from 2004-2006. They have good picture quality. I don't want Antenna TV to get it because they crunch credits. I would rather have another network get it that doesn't crunch credits. Although there have been some cable networks that ran this show in the last 4-5 years.

^ Ditto! Maybe they will. I don't have Season 1 either but I would buy a complete series set if it were released.

I think it was last on TVGN around 2014, may have gone into early 2015 but I don't remember.

If you guys are Wikipedia believers , here's the syndication information they have-

Syndication

ABC aired reruns of Who's the Boss? at 11:00 A.M. (EST) during its daytime schedule from June 1, 1987 until July 1, 1988, after which the show entered into its first local syndication run (September 1988). It was replaced by Growing Pains on the daytime schedule.

Who's the Boss? aired on TBS Superstation in the 1990s after it was canceled, and was also added to the ABC Family Channel lineup in the late 1990s and early 2000s (decade). Nick at Nite broadcast the show between 2004 and 2006. In 2005, TV Land broadcast the show as part of Nick at Nite's 20th Anniversary Celebration. The series also aired on Ion Television from July 2007 to February 2008, airing Monday-Thursdays at 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET.[17] It began airing on the Hallmark Channel in an early afternoon weekday block beginning on May 17, 2010 and ran until April 2, 2011. The series began airing on TVGN in July 2012, and on the Hub from April 2, 2013 until August 30, 2013. On June 1, 2014, the show joined the regular TV Land schedule.[18]

Several episodes from seasons one, two, and eight can be viewed for free in Minisode format on Crackle, which is owned by Sony Pictures Television.

I recall it airing on Hallmark around 2010/2011 and it was on in the day. I forgot TV Land also showed it in 2014. I think it was on weekends during the daytime then.

The entire series is on YouTube but it's in German under the title Wer Ist Hier Der Boss. It would be nice if I could understand it. I don't know if anyone here speaks German.

Guys, the whole series is available on iOffer.com. The "Movies & Television" section is where people record TV series that have not been released (or fully released) from TV airings and make DVD sets of them. The WTB complete series I got is very good quality (and I also had bought the official season 1 release before I knew about these).

I'm guilty of not buying Season 1 too, but I would buy all the other seasons in a flash. The first season was good, but it got more exciting as the kids grew up. Those are the seasons fans are really looking for. I hope Shout come to the rescue.

About a year ago, I was flipping through channels and I forgot what channel I landed on but Who's the Boss was on and I was soooo excited. I searched with my DVR to see when it would be airing on a regular basis, but it seemed like they just played one episode and that was it. It didn't show up anymore on my DVR search after that, so I was disappointed. But it's so strange in a funny way that they aired ONE episode and that was it. Maybe the channel needed something to fill a half hour slot for that night only and some awesome person picked WTB.
