All-New Before They Were Stars Encore April 28, 8/7c Robin Williams, Michael Douglas, Tina Turner, John Travolta, Don Johnson, Eddie Murphy and Janet Jackson are among the celebrities slated to be seen in some of their earliest performances, when An All-New Before They Were Stars returns for an encore presentation (Originally aired 11/27/94). This fast-paced, hour-long special is hosted by Joey Lawrence, Shelley Fabares and Richard Karn. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: · "Countdown" Early musical performances by Tina Turner, Jaleel White, Patty Duke, Elizabeth Taylor and Raquel Welch; · "Date With a Star" Contestants on "The Dating Game," including Don Johnson, John Ritter, Carl Weathers, Mark Harmon and Bob Saget; · "Funny Faces" Early comedy performances by Joan Rivers, Rosie O'Donnell, Dave Coulier and Paul Reiser; · "Amateur Hour" Amateur-night appearances by Ann-Margret, Eddie Murphy and Sandra Bernhard; · "Mail Bag" Clips shown in response to viewer requests, including very early performances by Robin Williams, John Travolta, William Shatner and Cybill Shepherd; · "Knock Knock" Surprising entrances by Hal Linden, Jim Belushi and Janet Jackson; · "Stars and Cars" Clips featuring stars and their cars; included are Michael Douglas and some surprise celebrities appearing in early automobile commercials; · "Service With a Star" Stars as waiters and waitresses; included are Jamie Lee Curtis as a waitress and George Carlin in the early role of carhop; · "Stars to the Rescue" Debra Winger, William Daniels and James Garner coming to the aid of people in distress; · "Be True to Your School" "Good old golden-rule days" with Winona Ryder, Rob Morrow, Sela Ward and Denzel Washington. |
