Trying to recall an episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw this one many years ago but my memory is very vague. The only thing about it that stands out is the scene where Jonathan goes for a swim and immediately starts screaming when he hits the water. I believe the pool had been contaminated with some type of chemical in an attempt to blind him. I'm 99% certain this was a HTH episode and the scene I'm speaking of may be the opening one but I can't pin it down. Any help is very much appreciated.

I believe the Hart To Hart episode you are referring to is the episode from Hart To Hart called Hit Jennifer Hart and in the scene you are referring to Jennifer Hart screams in the water for fear because Jonathan Hart is trying to save her and Jennifer Hart hides in the water to be safe. What a surprise this is because I saw Hart To Hart on DVD a few minutes ago and I'm surprised to see a post about this

It is Season 3 episode 8, and it's called Hart of Darkness. There is a man who blames Jonathan for his sister's death, and he dumps some chemicals in the Hart's pool. Jonathan takes a swim, and gets blinded.

In case you didn't know, Tuesday-Saturday 2 am and 3 am, Hart to Hart is aired on Hallmark Murders and Mysteries.
