I can't wonder how many Parents will call themselves and/or their Kids "Sick" because (ESPECIALLY) in the Eastern and Central Time Zones because the game carries on to the wee hours of the night (Heaven FORBID those who live in the Mountain and Pacific zones would miss the beginning plays because they are still at work or school). If I was the President I'd push for a constitutional amendment PROHIBITING any championship game from starting later than 7:00 PM Eastern Time. With 2/3 of the country living EAST of the Mississippi River we shouldn't be coddling the left coast.

As a lifelong east coaster, the Super Bowl's fine. 6:30pm kickoff, over around 10. Even with some clean up/drive home/whatever, most people can easily be in bed by 11 if they want. It's those World Series games that start around 8:30 and tend to drag to midnight I find annoying. And there's potentially 7 of those. |

Sports don't interest me but I don't have to work tomorrow anyway. I don't like Beyoncé or Coldplay so I won't even be tuning in for the halftime show.
However, instead of the SB, I'll be doing a mini marathon of "Maude"! |

I almost felt too sick to go to church this morning because I had a hangover after last night's Black Sabbath concert at the Tacoma Dome. A few too many beers and chicken.
But I went.
