The one job that I have is getting on my last nerve and I can barely take it anymore. Let me explain. They have cut back on staff and it is still busy. They expect waaaaaay too much from the dishwasher. We have to stock the cooler, put away stuff when trucks come in, Keep kitchen clean, keep up with dishes, wait on the old owner lady when she is in the kitchen cooking (claims she is too old to wait on herself so we have to help her every 5 minutes), go down stairs and change sodas/CO2s when needed, go out and clean tables (waitresses wont do it-LAZY), bring out all the stuff for the steam table in cooks area. Wait on the cooks and waitresses when needed, prep a bunch of foods and sweep and mop whole restaurant all by 9pm (when we close) and if its not done by 9, watch out!- they don't pay after 9. I never worked for owners that are soooo snobby and grouchy. I have witnessed several times them SCREAMING at other employees in front of me. One time she told one of the waitresses to "get out of my face!" Another time she scolded and screamed at one of our dishwashers (in front of me again) because he didn't hear her ask him a question (the machine was running and other background noise) and she says, "you need to answer me when I ask you a question!" "I wish you would leave and get a job at Burger King!" I felt so sorry for him that day. On a Friday a couple of years ago, we had a table come in and they were there a bit after closing. The owner was getting so frustrated she started grabbing stuff off their table! Now that we are running on a skeleton crew, nothing is getting done. My other job that I work at 2 nights a week is a great place. Everyone helps each other and we joke around. For the last few months, I have been looking for another job so sometime soon hopefully, I can replace the one job that's a nightmare. Wish me luck!

I too work for some idiots that run a small company so I kind of know what you are going through but not as bad as your work place. Good luck!
