I'm an accountant, and starting my second tax season. Already cleared 49 hours last week and it's just gonna go up from there. So here's your friendly reminder to get your taxes done. And if I'm not around much, it's because I'm probably stuck at the office.

Or drinking.

I can't even do anything productive with mine since I am being forced to move. The initial plan was to pay off my sleepy's card to reduce my debt but now that's out

Liza, thank you for the reminder! I need to do mine SOON. Not cause I owe the gov $, but I worry about identity theft. I do mine myself, as I have relatively simple returns. The Fed one is a piece of cake, but the NYS one--oy vay-talk about NOTKEEPING IT SIMPLE. That one is a royal pain in the butt!

BTW, nice seeing you back. And glad you're away from a bank. As someone who worked at a bank for over 10 years, it's kind of ironic how low the salaries are in a place which deals with do much money!
