Default So wait a minute, I get kicked off Facebook for having "Cowboys" as a middle name but

I have two friends with the names below who has been on Facebook with these names for 2 years

GORILLA

HAUNCH NODICE

But now I am being told to change my name to my real name because people need to see who they are connecting with? Can't they see that from the picture?

I thought as long as you had your real name visible you could use a sports name but I see that is not the case. So how the **** does someone stay on FB with the name GORILLA?

You probably were reported for having a fake name. Even if only part of it was fake.

I suggest you report the others. Yes, you can do this.

argue with them that it IS your middle name - what are they gonna do ask to see your driver's license? (and if they actually do just photoshop a scan of it - they can't actually verify it in any way)

tell them that someone on facebook has been cyberstalking and harrassing you and that they only reported you to mess with you. make sure to explain that this person has been using numerous fake names and deleting their accounts frequently before you can report them, and complain that Facebook isn't doing anything to protect honest, productive members of the Facebook community.

I had to send them verification of my name and was locked out 24 hours

I know a girl who tried to register on facebook, and they wouldn't let her because they said her name was fake. Her name is Dorcas. Yes, it's an ugly, old fashioned name, but as God's my witness, that's her name! And they wouldn't let her register.

I just don't like that if I ever start another job someone I work with can just look me up on FB. It's not like that on Twitter

They are trying to take away your privacy. Everything you post they can use. I'm very careful of what I post. I don't see how they would know if you use a fake name unless it is obvious.

Oh No

I've added "MrCleveland" as a middle-name since that's how some people know me...and nothing!

You forgot to mention Jim Naisium.

Facebook is garbage and bad news. It causes a lot of problems for people. The site should be wiped off the internet. I would never sign up there.
