Creature Double Feature was a syndicated horror show, broadcast in the Boston (and Philadelphia) area between 1976-1983.
Every Saturday at 1pm, WLVI TV56 would broadcast classics such as Dracula vs. Frankenstein, Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, The Valley of Gwangi, and the movie that gave me nightmares for many years... Matango: Attack of the Mushroom People. |

In NYC it was called Creature Feature and began in the late 1960's. It was on at night along with its competition called Chiller Theater.

Thanks Babalu. I'm glad to hear Creature Feature is known beyond Boston and Philly.
I do vaguely remember a debate among my older brothers questioning if (and when) the name was Creature Feature or Creature Double Feature. |
