Default ok, i think it's unfair

i've been telling everyone at school this so...i shall tell everyone hear....

i think they should have some operation for people who want to be taller (i'm not talking about an 11 year old who has not started puberty, i'm talking about like a 15 yr. old who's stopped growing and will never be 5 feet).

they have operations for people who want less wrinkles, smaller boobs, bigger boobs, bigger stomach, smaller stomach, smaller legs, bigger legs, smaller bottay, bigger bootay, better vision, and even for people who want to change sexes! ok! the medical people need to find an operation. i know everyone thinks it's impossible but like a couple of years ago, before technology had improved, (like say in the 60s or 70s) people doubted there would be operations for taking fat away and all...so you never know what is possible.

but if they don't come up with an operation then i have decided to devoted my life to finding one...

OMG!!! I know what ya mean. I'm 15 years old and I'm 4'11 and a half. I cannot stand being soo short. My social studies teacher calls me an Oompa Loompa. Its soo annoying!! And I cant reach anything thats taller than me. Its ridiculous.

For my 21st birthday next week, I want to grow at least 8 inches taller. I'm only 4'10" tall! <sob> My 15 year-old sister is taller than me

That is really possible. I don't see why someone can't come up with something!

Come on guys, being short isn't THAT bad. I for one like being short. By the way, most people are not completly grown at 15. I'm twenty and will never be taller than 5'4. So what? I'm happy with my height. Come on guys! Judy Garland was 4'11! 4'11! And yet she accomplished a heck of a lot and a whole lot of people looked up to her. Michael J. Fox isn't short for attention either! Be happy with the way you are.

Just think girls, if the surgery never becomes possible, there's always 4" heels!

I'd rather have the surgery than wear those things. Heck, I'd rather be forced to watch every single episode of Friends (which I hate) one after the other than wear high heels

I just dont see how that would be possible. What can they possibly do? I mean they cant cut off your feet, make the bones in your legs longer and put your feet back on! Any type of surgery to make people taller just seems unrealistic to me. But maybe they could come up with some pill that makes you grow more or something like that... that seems possible. Or if all else fails like Dawsongirl said, just wear some big shoes!

My friend's 4'11'' and like the doctors say theres a "slim chance of her making it over 5 feet." I feell so bad. LOL.

But, Mimi, yeah, there should be an operation like that, I mean there's an operation for like everything else. Why not this? *shrugs*

Doctor said I'm supposed to be 6 feet. What a joke

But I mean they could come up with a pill to speed up your growth...

Interesting...I had never really thought of that before. I'm sure it could be done, either by a pill, or with surgery. I bet you they could do it surgically by lengthening your legs with either plastic or metal (and hell these days they could possibly do it with real bone, I betcha they could grow a bone in a petri dish! ) and using skin grafts to lengthen the skin of your legs to accommodate the extra length. It'd probably be a difficult surgery, but there's no doubt in my mind someone could find a way to do it.

I'm pretty happy with my height (5'6") except for when I go to concerts, and I can't see a dang thing. I bought a pair of 3" clunky heeled shoes specifically so I could see more at concerts!
