Heart Michael Lembeck on Barney Miller "Hair" ep.

This will be included in the Marathon for Abe Vigoda this Saturday ! He plays a long haired detective similar to Serpico! I never saw this ep before but was told about it by other posters on SO!! I can't wait!! 1:30 my time I'm gonna sure drop whatever I'm doing and watch this!!!

I remember that one. He's good in it, if I remember right he ruffles some feathers because he goes against the grain.

Cool!!! It would have been awesome if they made him a regular! But than maybe he wouldn't have been able to do Mary Hartman, Kaptain Kool or even One day at a time?

I was disappointed!!!! I didn't really like him in this role!!! Well maybe because I didn't like the ep. very much!!! I didn't find it very entertaining! They could have done more with his character and portrayed him better! He did look cute once he shaved and took that hat off and you could see his face. But I liked him so much better as Max!!! And also he was adorable when he was on The Partridge family (so young and baby faced) And he was way hot when he guest starred on Happy Days and when he was on Mary Hartman, from what I remember, it's been so long since I've seen MH!! But the Barney Miller gig, well as I said I was disappointed. He seemed like he was uncomfortable or something, he wasn't his self it seemed?

The thing I remember is that the 'beard' his character initially sported looked like something found in a grade school production of Abraham Lincoln! I know Mr. Lembeck couldn't have grown a full beard JUST to have it shaven off by the end of the episode but would it have been that tough to have found a starving bearded actor willing for the sake of a paycheck -or at least gotten a better looking fake beard?

There's finally a little action on the ODAAT board, and it's about Barney Miller...

There was a classic TV week in 2001. This was the line-up:

As for the nose pic, akin to what you're doing for Mike Minor, that was my subtle tribute to Pat Harrington/Schneider, as the whole thing was his fault.

The Barney Miller ep. with Michael is on tonight? Maybe I will watch it again. IDK though I'm thinking they play local news here at the time Barney Miller is supposed to be on weekdays?

My One Day at a Time connections:

-From beard to no beard, so it's basically 4 years of ODAAT in 23 minutes. Although I think the hair and beard were fake in this one.

-One of the people arrested this episode was a Mr. Cooper

-If only Gardeno had made a move on Fishs or Barneys wife, we would have had Max

I don't agree! I didn't think he seemed anything like Max on Barney Miller! Maybe if he had curled Mrs. Fish or Mrs. Miller's toes!
