Wow! The majority of Wally's jobs were with ice cream ! I think he had four jobs throughout the series ! And only one that wasn't dealing with ice cream!
1- Wally the Businessman season 3- Pushing an ice cream cart around town, selling ice cream bars!!! 2-Wally's weekend job season 5- Wally working the counter at an ice cream/soda shop! 3- Eddie the business man season 6- Wally and Eddie get jobs at the Mayfield Dairy ! (Eddie's plans to butter up the loading dock foreman at Mayfield Dairy blind him to suspicious activity involving missing ice cream, jeopardizing the new week-end job Ward wangled for him and Wally). The other job that didn't involve ice cream was 4- Wally the life guard - season 4- Wally sets out to be a life guard at Friends lake , but it turns out he is too young ,and ends up taking a position of selling Hot dogs on the beach!

Don't forget job #5, Wally and Eddie working as car parking attendants. Granted that was only a one time thing, though Wally might have gotten more jobs doing it if it weren't for Eddie.

And I guess you could say it was a job keeping Eddie in line.

"Wally the life guard"
Well, he ended up being a hot dog and candy vendor, so he may have began pushing a small ice cream cart on his next weekend at work. Parking attendant. That was for a wedding reception, and wedding's always have cake, and when there's cake, there usually.... maybe not at weddings, but the bride usually tosses the bouquet to some girls who might say "I scream for it!" The paper route. Surely the paper had some grocery ads that included ice cream. The baby sitter of Chuckie or Pat. Those little kids probably pestered him for ice cream. Painting the garbage cans. They must have thrown their ice cream cartons into them. The garage painters. Well, that's where they put up the car, which was used to go to the market and buy ice cream. Doing yard work to earn money for baseball uniforms. Remember there was a heat wave, and if Wally spent more money than he earned on Beaver's water for sale, he surely would have wanted some ice cream. Working at the carnival, which paid them with the old horse, Nicolas. No question carnivals sell ice cream. |
