What show absolutely dissapointed you with their Final episode??? Perhaps even ruining some of the mystique of the entire show? I hated how Cheers ended, it sort of made all those great years with Sam and Diane useless when they didn't end up with eachother!

St. Elsewhere and Mork & Mindy are the first that come to mind for me. A LOT of shows seem to end on a poor note though, due to unexpected cancellation or the writers trying to shock people into a letter writing campaign. Quantum Leap seems like a good example for that, and maybe The New WKRP In Cincinnati.

Although I love this show I would have to say Laverne & Shirley
since the finale had nothing really to do with neither of them. BTW:As far as Quantum Leap goes, well everyone knows that Sam actually ended up leaping 152 years into the future into the body of one Captain Jonathan Archer!

oh yeah, Laverne and Shirley had a really forced, rushed type of wrap up.
I was also thinking Twin peaks just now. They went out of their way to destroy everything in sight to shock people like crazy, but it was kind of like, "dang - why'd they have to do that" |

The Lucy Show !!!
They should have brought back Vivian Vance and the kids one more time before the change over to Here's Lucy. Interesting that in one of the later Lucy Shows , Lucy calls her tv son "Jimmy" instead of "Jerry" as that was his name during her "Danfield" years of The Lucy Show. |

This probably falls under the category of unexpected cancellation, but I really wanted to see the guys on Hogan's Heroes finally get to go home. The show just ended with a normal episode. *yawn*

I agree with Silver Daze about the finale of Family Matters and Full House. There endings weren't endings they were just weird.

Okay, major tie between FOL and The Brady Bunch. I mean, FOL had some conclusions by the end of their ninth (eighth? It's been a while since I've watched it) season, like Jo getting married and Tootie engaged and Nat in SoHo, but at the same time, just because Blair bought Eastland doesn't mean a show has to end. I mean, unlike other shows, they didn't go for anything nostalgic and reflect on something or another. Nope, they just ended it the worst way they could. How many lines did Natalie have again?
With TBB, it's understandable that Greg out of high school's a reason for a SEASON to be ending, but a show? Wasn't there supposed to be a sixth season or something? That'd be nice. Sorry for my rambling (as usual, if you know me from the FOL boards or anywhere like that!), but the two shows definitely never had a good conclusion to them.
