Default Ed Sullivan Show

With the addition of Johnny Carson on Antenna TV. I wonder if they would add other talk shows like Ed Sullivan. That show in my opinion is more memorable than Johnny Carson which started too late each night.

Ed Sullivan was appointment television for our family. I would do an entire collection if Ed Sullivan could be added to some channel.

I see many old talk shows are getting picked up by the diginets so this is not impossible.

I would like to see the 60s version of the Jackie Gleason Show especially the ones that have the short color sketches. I e-mailed Decades and GetTV. No response.

I want at least one channel to have the Hogan Family again, so no one on here will have to go through the hell I went through trying to get it.

Same here. I wish some channel would get the rights to The Hogan Family so I would not have to hunt for it like I did a few years ago.

I have 3 different sets for the show and all of them look horrible. They look like they came from YouTube downloads or bad Pax TV recordings.I would love a better set but I am waiting for a station to air the show

That would be sweet. I have HQ sets of 3 1/2 seasons, but the other 2 1/2 look like garbage. Hogans Family (particulary when V.Harper was on it) was one of favorite shows as a Teenager.

I have about a dozen or so discs (maybe more) of the Ed Sullivan Show.

About 10 years ago, a Canadian channel was airing what looked like a "Best of" collection of that show .... the acts were from different years, some in b&w, some in color ... anyways I had a DVR by then so I recorded them and put them to dvd, so quality is excellent .... somewhere I even wrote, what performer was in each episode and tried cross reference it with an episode guide to see the date the act appeared on the show. Must have that still somewhere.
