For me, it's Mokey. She makes me feel so...so...
*sigh* Yes, I have this little "cutesy" (or crazy) thing for a fraggle. I just love her voice, and she looks so cool, and if I were a fraggle she really would be my soulmate. We're both:- very tall - sensitive - artistic (I don't paint or do much poetry, but I'm a musician and creative writer) - not always taken seriously or practically - love to sing - live in our own fantasy world rather than "reality" (ick) And she's got blue and green hair and is purple. And green and purple are my 2 favorite colors, respectively. And I realize a lot of you probably won't be really familiar with the show, since a good number of you were born during its air time and even after ('83-'88). But some of you from around then have probably seen "Fraggle Rock" somewhere... I used to love Gobo as a kid. I idolized him (man, he has such a cool vest), but then I grew up and saw just how much Mokey and I have in common. So who's y'all's favorite fraggle? I've included a li'l basic-of-basics description by each one up above in case you can't remember the name, but you remember the main characteristics. And don't feel shy to 'fess up if you've had a crush on one---or still do, lol. Hey, silly stuff like this spices up mundane life!

Good thing you listed the names, my memory isn't that good.
I know I haven't seen the show since it's original airing. Does it air on any station now? I'd love to see it again.Anyways, my favorite when I was a kid was Boober, he was always funny. I also liked the dog. Was his name Sprocket? I'd like to see the show now to see if my opinion has changed. |

Red was always my fave! She was so cool. I also liked Mokey a lot too, and that dog that lived with the old guy. He kept seeing Fraggles and the guy just wouldn't listen!

And as well-written the show was, with wonderful humor and pathos (kind of like an '80s sitcom!), the superb songs, and the levels and levels of relationships among the characters and species---well, I'm sure you'd still have to love it! ![]() There are some great fraggle sites out there, and an awesome message board at this place called Muppet Central with a folder for "Fraggle Rock", and there are lots of interesting discussions over there! Y'all should check it out! |

The man's name is Doc, and his dog is Sprocket.
Then there were the three gigantic Gorgs, Ma, Pa, and Junior. And of course Marjory the Trash Heap, and her li'l "helpers" Philo and Gunge. And we can't forget the li'l green doozers!
