Cell Phone Problems...
Okay, my cell phone is 6 1/2 years old, and I need a new one...
BUT... ...I'm under my sister's plan! It doesn't end until April. I doubt my cell phone would make it! I can't even charge it properly, so...should I... A) Wait until April? B) Get a temporary phone until further notice? C) Use AT&T since I have their internet service? D) Go to the Verizon Store and see what they say? |

Couldn't you or your sister contact the service provider and request a new phone?
I don't have a cell phone, I don't like them and I don't want one. I have a good, old fashioned landline phone, that's all I need. The one thing cell phones are good for is if you are on the road and have car trouble, and you need to be able to contact someone. In that instance, having a cell phone can be helpful. |

I take this to mean that the contract doesn't end until April. That probably doesn't mean that you can't get a new phone prior to that. I would go to the store of your provider and explain the issue to them, and you can probably get an upgrade under the same contract.
