Default So wait, Thelma was mad because her boyfriend decided to go to a basketball game with

HER FATHER????????????????????????

Why the f*ck would that bother her when she knows he is spending time with someone in her family? That's like a girl breaking a date with me to go to some event geared toward women with my Mom.

Why would I be mad at that? Thelma was a WACKO in this episode

This is an example of why I hate dating. Thelma was starting a fight where it was no need to start one

Now I can see if he said he got some free basketball tickets and decided to take one of his friends but he decides to take her DAD

That is a keeper, a guy to hang on to!!! A boyfriend that wants to spend time with the girl's family and wants to bring her to his family's home and family gatherings mean he is really into the girl!!!

IDK why Thelma would be mad that her boyfriend took her Dad to the basketball game?? That's a good thing to get in good with her family!!

I forgot about this mentioned episode. Did the boyfriend finally dump Clingy Thelma? I did not break out of Good Times DVD, since I have not watched this show in a while.

This was the episode when Larry came over to ask James if he wanted to go to a basketball game. And after James said yes, Larry came back and said he cant go to the game because he just got offered a job in California

The Break up episode

That's why I don't care when women say "My Husband is not a good man"! You know their was a good man who was down for you and treated you well, but you bypassed him for some small reason. And yes Keith as a man was beneath Larry!

James disliked most of Thelma's boyfriends, so she should have been thrilled that she found someone who James was willing to spend time with.

Maybe she was mad he didn't go out with her or that her father would bug him about personal information about the guy.

He explained that he was given the free tickets and since she didn't like basketball he invited her dad. Then she started acting like she was 12
