I voted depending on the guests!!!I do have a soft spot in my heart for Johnny Carson though. He always seemed like a cool guy!!! My parents LOVED him!!! Another reason I like Johnny is I associate him with no school the next day. Cause if I was up late enough that Johnny Carson was on it meant it was a Friday night or summer vacation!!!

You're singing to the choir on that one. Smooth, witty ,urbane, handsome and charming-he had it all. No one comes close- maybe Dick Cavett, Phil Donahue and Jay Leno as respectable but distant seconds. And what I also liked about Johnny was that with all his sophistication he could be tough, but never showed this unless really called for. HE WAS THE BEST!!!
